Improve your CV

One of the huge benefits of teaching abroad is that it’ll push you out of your comfort zone, and schools back home will understand this. Seeing you’ve pushed yourself out of your comfort zone and experience new cultures will bode well on your CV.

New life experiences

Teaching abroad can expand your horizons and can give you the chance to gain new and exciting experiences. Throwing yourself into new cultures, life experiences and learn new teaching methods will be an adventure every day. You’ll learn a great deal about yourself and appreciate new places as well as your home town.

Travel opportunities

Work and travel can coincide with one another. Remember you’re entitled to a lot of holiday allowance and what better way to utilise this time to travel. Visit neighbouring countries and experience new cultures, tickets will be considerably cheaper than flying from your home country -  you’ll want to book immediately!

Money saving

When it comes to working abroad, International schools will usually offer attractive packages to make it worth your while. Most places offer salaries that cover essential expenses as well as additional packages; these can vary, but could include anything from travel expenses to offering free education for your child.

You’re in high demand

Finding quality educators to work abroad can be a difficult task for schools. As international schools are always open to working with new teachers that span across the globe you’re in high demand!

Learn new skills

There is always room to learn new skills and teaching abroad will provide you with an abundance of opportunities. You can develop your language skills, cooking skills - maybe you’ve always wanted to learn how to make the perfect paella in Spain!

Gain insights into other cultures and remember learning new skills and cultures can be tough so one huge skill you’ll learn to perfect is patience, patience is key!
