CPD stands for Continued Professional Development and allows you to update your skills and knowledge to ensure you are the most competent at your job. Although most teachers have spent huge amounts of time to qualify as a teacher, education standards and best practices regularly change. CPD ensures you keep up-to-date with any changes.

A teacher who keeps up-to-date with their CPD can really stand out from other teachers when applying for a new job. It shows that you are committed to bettering yourself at work.
